This past weekend marked the qualification stage of UEFA eEURO 2025 - one of the most prestigious tournaments in the EA Sports FC discipline. It’s an event where eFootball players from all across Europe compete for the right to represent their country in the final stage of the championship. For many, it’s a chance to shine on the international stage, to demonstrate individual skill and composure in matches against some of the continent’s strongest opponents.

Three players – damie, D3VA, and Fico took part in the qualifiers, each delivering a series of tense and emotional encounters.

damie produced a balanced performance, finishing with three wins and three losses to take 20th place overall. The Polish player started confidently, defeating m1r33m from Bosnia and Herzegovina 5-4. He then lost a close match to the Greek competitor Xx_kragz_xX 6-8, but quickly bounced back with a convincing 8-3 victory over French player LJR_Peixoto. A dramatic duel against Estonia’s Simpa ended narrowly in favor of the opponent 6-5. In the fifth round, damie defeated Norway’s Dennorw 6-3, but the final match against Switzerland’s gianluca_m17, who later qualified for the next stage, ended 4-10. Despite the tough bracket, damie showed strong gameplay, consistency, and resilience, proving that he can compete among the very best.

D3VA finished the qualification stage with two wins and three losses, placing 27th overall. The tournament began with a difficult match against Finland’s Kossu72, ending in a 6-11 defeat. Although D3VA started the game confidently, his opponent took control in the second half and turned the score around. In the next fixture, the Ukrainian narrowly lost to Turkey’s Berkije 3-4. However, he managed to recover with a 7-6 win over Blame33 from Armenia and a solid 5-4 victory against Zhasik of Kazakhstan. In the final and most intense match of his run, D3VA faced brandsha from Malta and suffered a heartbreaking 7-8 loss in the second extra time. Despite not advancing further, his performance stood out for its determination, stability, and competitive edge against seasoned opponents.

Fico finished close behind his teammates in 26th place, also with two wins and three losses. The start of the tournament was challenging, with defeats to LJR_Peixoto of France 2-5 and Simpa of Estonia 5-6. The Croatian player then managed to turn things around, securing a 7-6 victory over CASADEIDAVIDE from San Marino and an 8-6 win against HerrEggbert of Liechtenstein, showcasing his composure in key moments. His final match ended in a 6-9 loss to YuvalBeli from Israel, who later advanced to the top 8. Fico demonstrated perseverance and confidence, leaving a strong impression with his level of play and focus on the virtual pitch.

Despite a demanding qualification phase, all three players displayed fighting spirit, determination, and composure, proving their ability to stand tall among Europe’s finest competitors. The tournament became an important step forward and a valuable experience that will surely serve them well in future international competitions.
