This week, the ORLEN ePuchar Polski came to a thrilling conclusion. Organized by the Polish Football Association (PZNP), this prestigious event attracted over 140 of Poland's top eFootball players. They competed not only for a cash prize from a tournament sponsor but also for an invitation to the Polish national eFootball team's selection camp! Representing the Polonia Bytom club was our renowned Polish division player, Neerven.
As per the format, the competition began with the Swiss format matches. Despite strong competition, Neerven was able to make his way to the Top 16. The second round was held in a classic double-elimination bracket, which Neerven blitzed through without suffering a single defeat. Though the initial stages were conducted online, the climax of the tournament brought the Top 4 players together for a gripping offline showdown in Warsaw.
Nerveen has ultimately finished third, and considering the overall level of participants, this is a truly outstanding achievement. His journey through this tournament not only highlights his individual prowess but also underscores the growing excitement and competitive spirit within the eFootball community in Poland.
